Fantastic start
This book has laid all the groundwork for what is to come. It’s a great storyline. The characters are well written. I can’t wait to see where this is going. Excellent performance from Adam.

Short but really good
You know what? I enjoyed this. It has everything you'd expect from a Sword and Sorcery story but without the sorcery; it's got shapeshifters, goblins, dwarfs, fairies, good guys and bad guys and they fit together well. It's not as dark as Tolkein but the journey storyline evokes An Unexpected Journey.
It's not a long story and there's a sequel to seek out but it's good. The narrator does a good job.
