the audio version became available whilst I was awaiting my hard copy of the book to arrive in the UK. not my usual format but heck I wanted the whole story. LOVE this story - it has changed my whole world. Esther found her voice through her Dads and their gentle and often hair-raising story is one we can all learn from. unconditional love and respect for all nature.

Esther’s story is so moving, such humanity comes through in the telling - no joke. Steve narrates with passion, honesty & humor making the book a joy to listen to - I pretty much listened to it in one go. Steve & Derek are an inspiration - little wonder sweet Esther chose them.

What did you like most about Esther the Wonder Pig?

I bought the book because I love Esther and wanted to support the work of her dads. I wasn't expecting it to be an amazing book, but it is the first book I have ever had on audible that I listened to the whole of in one sitting :) made me so happy, thank you!

What about Steve Jenkins’s performance did you like?

Fantastic narrator- it is so important and he did a great job.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The tangible distress of the urine-soaked house and the sobbing dads scrubbing the basement. That moment lead them to true happiness.

I discovered Esther The Wonder Pig on Facebook and have become increasingly in awe of the work of Steve and Derek (the Dads) and their Happy Ever Esther farm sanctuary in Canada. This is their story of how it all began. Please listen or read it. It’s great and what they say has made me think long and hard about some of my life decisions.
