It walks you through why a basic will isn't enough and why setting up a revocable living trust is a smarter move. How to choose someone to manage things, how to protect yourself while alive with a power of attorney, and how to actually move your assets into the trust.
It covers details people often forget, such as passing down digital passwords, choosing guardians, and navigating local and state laws regarding taxes and witness requirements. It also explains the tax rules: "step-up in basis" to save your heirs money later. It won't replace a real lawyer, but it gives you the exact confidence and vocabulary you need so you don't get confused when you talk to a professional. This is something you don't know you needed until you do.

To start the narrator did a great job to keep you engage and entertained. The book is broken down into a step-by-step process.
Estate planning is not about how much money you have, it helps you organize your lifetime in a way. If you are hospitalized, what do you want to be done? (healthcare directive, healthcare power of attorney) What do you want done with their house, cars, or any other assets? It helps you care for your loved ones when you are gone or incapacitated. This is a legally binding document.
The author has some real-world examples of what happens if you do not have any estate plans already set in place.
This book is great for a beginner; it is clear and concise about what is needed. The checklists are nice as well for those that need a visual.
