nice story all neatly tied up in the last 30mins
I don't really rate the narration style, she didn't really add much in the way of emotion or feelings. it was just read out really. The story however was nice and an easy listen. Some of the ways Del dealt with matters and how she saw things was a bit hard to grasp. i.e. she didn't really dwell on her feelings after her husband left and then felt bereft for asking Steph if she stole the money - with good reason I add - but Steph was completely upset and left. an overreaction but all that aside it was lovely to live in the lavender scented farmhouse with rosè being drunk every lunchtime and romance budding everywhere. I'd have liked to dwell on the romance more but the other storylines were good also. The 'clearing' was a nice addition.
overall enjoyable especially as a summer getaway
