About this listen

Great Britain or the United Kingdom of Britannia as it had been known was now called the Kingdom of Jurassica by the rest of the world. The country that was changed forever when scientists in Scotland recreated and brought to life a prehistoric long extinct dire wolf. This set in motion the race for bio engineering companies to make the biggest and scariest Dinosaur for the most cash. Safety & Security guidelines were skimped on to save money so when an environmental extremist group broke into one of the cloning labs dinosaurs escaped.

To combat the ever increasing dinosaur population running rampant across the UK a designer virus is created. Disaster struck when the disease mutated wiping out 75% of the British population. The government then ordered an emergency mass evacuation. The UK was now an abandoned apocalyptic island inhabited by prehistoric animals.

When George, a man living alone in Scotland comes across a woman and child, he promises to help them find a way off Jurassica to safety. The group must journey to one of the countries last operational evac zones. Avoiding threats from both Carnivorous dinosaurs hunting them, and humans determined not to let them leave.

What would you do if Pterosaurs started attacking a convention centre you were exhibiting in and you had to get back to your family?
When you arrive home, they are gone. Do you wait, or evacuate?
This dual timeline dino-romp is set against the backdrop of a very ordinary life in the UK. It's punchy, fast paced, and I listened to the whole thing in one go. The characters are super relatable and the British narrator is probably the best I've listened to. Great fun. super exciting. 100% recommend.

Michael Crighton meets A Quiet Place - and the narration is brilliant too!
