Why did Lauren Vaughn introduce her sister to the man she herself was crazy about? Now Lauren is watching the happy couple at their combined bachelor/bachelorette party - while Lauren sits all alone at the bar. Until she spots a hot stranger with the telltale black handkerchief in his pocket: the signal for "seeks no-strings affair with sexy submissive." Lauren can't take her eyes off him. So when he comes over, she kicks her inner good girl to the curb and follows Jamie Forman to his room, where he makes her scream with pleasure all night long.
But Jamie is a complicated man. He can't handle how desperately he wants her in his bed - and his life. It's up to Lauren to teach him how to make all night last forever.
I LIKE THIS BOOK SEXY CHARACTERS AND ITS PRETTY KINKY (DEPENDING ON WHAT YOURE INTO). DEFINITLY WORTH IT.

Fifty Shades of Grey may be the "hottest thing" but realistic? Not so much. How about a short book where there is an actual negotiation, a safety call, a safe word decided by the bottom, a dominant who admits he isn’t perfect, a submissive who struggles with using a safe word and comes to terms in a healthy way with it, and conversation about local community and munches? This is it.
Unfortunately it’s the only book I could find by Gillian Archer but it was well worth it and I hope there are more in the future.

Would you listen to Wicked Weekend again? Why?
Yes, I would. This was a fully fleshed out story with a creative plot. I would prefer this to whatever my radio is playing during 5 o'clock traffic
What other book might you compare Wicked Weekend to and why?
I can't think of a book off hand but this reminds me of the movie The Wedding Date with Debra Messing. Except the romance scenes are way hotter.
Which character – as performed by Felicity Munroe – was your favorite?
Lauren the heroine and she did a great Jamie as well. No wimpy male voice for Jamie.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Lauren was sitting at the bar trying to get drinks for the table and she noticed they already had their drinks and did not bother to tell her. It made me really sad and you can feel how her family, namely her sister takes advantage of her and her low self esteem about her body. Then I am excited because she notices Jamie who is hella hot checking her out.
Any additional comments?
Looking for a short listen that has some realistic BDSM elements and a heroine you can like. Give it a try.

Would you try another book from Gillian Archer and/or Felicity Munroe?
Yes I would try another book by Gillian Archer/and or Felicity Munroe.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Well the part I would change about the story would be that the story didn't really tell much about the two main characters in the book. They really didn't do much together and based on the name and picture of the book I was expecting a much steamier story.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
yes
Do you think Wicked Weekend needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
no, wasn't very interesting to read a follow-up book.

Where does Wicked Weekend rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I liked Wicked Weekend because of the BDSM scenes. This is one of the reasons that I love Audible, because I can get Erotica.
What does Felicity Munroe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The "HEAT" that the narration by Felicity Munroe brings to the book. When you listen, it is easier to get "all hot and bothered".
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I wanted to smack Lauren (female character), when she was self depricating, in the beginning. And cheering for J (male character) when he stands up for her.
Any additional comments?
Where can I get more books by Gillian Archer??

Was looking forward to a quick happy listen but this book was very boring and predictable all round. The sex/ love scenes were not romantic or hot in any way. Lucky it was cheap enough so won't bother returning.

This was a short yummy treat. Kinda like a candy bar. It's quick and just full of that "sex" sugar. Sometimes you don't want a long book to listen to and this one hit the spot. I really enjoyed it and the price of admission.

I liked the idea of the story. Jamie was hot and I'd be somewhat interested in seeing where their story will go from here. However, this book was very boring and predictable all round. The sex/ love scenes were not romantic or hot in any way. Lucky it was cheap enough so won't bother returning. Would I read it again...no.

Standalone. Short novella.
Fairly basic Harlequin story and characters.
Very basic BDSM references.
Narration is okay.
loved the story. , although i wished it had been longer! the end was too abrupt .
