Rien. She doesn't know it, but she's already mine. They all are. They cry. They scream. They beg for their lives. The truth of it is, they're all wearing masks - even me. I'm just the only one who's not afraid to look at what lies beneath.
Sara. My hands are tied behind my back. Even if I could get loose, I'm locked inside the plastic surgeon's library. He's in the next room, killing someone. And if I said I wanted him to let me go, I'd be lying.
I enjoyed this audio. The character development was good. The backstory of both characters was well described and I was invested in both of them. The narrator did a good job. I would have enjoyed a little bit more darkness because I felt that both characters were headed that direction, we just never reach that point. It's a easy listen and overall enjoyable.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Carly Robins?
I like Carly as a narrator. That was part of the reason I bought this book on Audible
Do you think Mine needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No. The Story is pretty much complete.
Any additional comments?
2.5 stars I just really wasn't feeling this book. The connection between Rian and Sarah just seemed too forced. I expected something more like the first book and I don't think it got that. I liked Sarah but Rian was just ...... I dunno. Some parts where good but in the end, it just didn't do it for me. I liked the first book so that may be better for you if you are new to this author.

This is one that would be better read rather than listened to. The overall performance was overly dramatic in areas where it didn't need to be and all the male voices were a disappointment. The male voices were all too whiney and feminine. I didn't even realize that the doctor was supposed to be a man in the first scenes. I had to go back and read the description of the book again to make sure the book was about a man and woman rather than two women.
Well I was disappointed because I honestly could not tell a difference in between the male and female voices from the narrator so I stayed in a constant state of confusion so I just stopped listening and removed it from my device. I will have to just read this novel. I like dark romances so I was looking forward to that. So unless they do a remake with a different narrator, like Saskia Maarleveld, Erin Mallon, Muffy Newton, Ava Erickson... Don't get it.
Would you consider the audio edition of Mine to be better than the print version?
Kind of i mean i love reading it with my eyes but then again i love listening to the audio book. Hope that answer the question.
What other book might you compare Mine to and why?
I dont know i read so many book that i can compare to other books that i cant name. lol
Which character – as performed by Carly Robins – was your favorite?
Revi because she has a way for to close to sound like a man voice.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Always MINE. haha that sounds like a good tag haha.
Any additional comments?
