Summary

Best Lesbian Romance 2011 captures the lyricism of love from the first blush of recognition to the forever embrace of shared hearts. Radclyffe has gathered a collection as varied as our unique and irreproducible experiences of falling in love.

A practiced cynic learned the power of "Hearts and Flowers" in Theda Hudson's tale of a first anniversary. Sexy Shakespeareans discover that the real romance takes place offstage in Catherine Lundoff's "Twelfth Night".

Rich in sensual detail, the stories in Best Lesbian Romance 2011 celebrate the joy and the passion of lesbian love in all its many wondrous forms.

Cute but no Depth

The stories are cute, but I found that as soon as the characters would draw me in their stories would suddenly be over. I would be given just enough time to invest in their stories and then poof, already done.

They are GREAT little stories, but short stories, I suppose, simply aren't my thing.

I purchased this title because there is such a sad lack of lesbian romance vs the large collection of male male on audible.

I do have one VERY positive thing to say. These girls are real and their love stories are genuine. This was written with women in mind and not with entertaining men, unlike a lot of the pulp fiction genre you find on audible. That part was refreshing.

The reader wasn't my favorite, but she managed well enough.

Some are really good... others not really

Diversity of styles and storytelling, loved some of them... but not really impressed with some others. The performances have the same problem. One of the stories was not easy to listen to, the accents too deep.

Not bad

This narrator should get the worst attempt at an accent award (it is terrible) , but apart from that there is a few good story's here.
