Summary

One moment, six years ago. The night she made the world around me so much more than just a blur. Now it's the catalyst that threatens to tear us apart. Our happily was supposed to be ever after. So why do I feel like it's slipping through my fingers? How can one moment, when our world seemed so right, resurface and cause our perfect life to spiral out of control? I can't lose her; she's my checkered flag.

I just didn't enjoy this book.

I didn't enjoy any of the books in the series which surprised me because I had heard great things about them. The best thing I can say about this book is it was ok .

very heavy story

this was my 6th read in this series. I LOVED the trilogy of Colton and Rylee but this was just too heavy of a listen for me. I realize that it was very real and probably needs more attention to this condition but it is also very sad. I like a little drama in the books that I listen to which makes them interesting and the happy ending even better. this was just very depressing for me and made me sad. the beginning of the book was good and the very end. It seems like most of the book was about the depression. I wish there would have been more 'happy' chapters at the end. I guess I may seem shallow, but if I want sad and depressing, I'll listen to the news. I very rarely give a bad review but I wish I wouldn't have listened to this. Looking forward to happier subject matter in the next 2 books

Awesome finale!

I am so happy with this final book. It was awe inspiring with all the ups and downs that really happens in life.
I would recommend these books to everyone I know that loves to read as well as the ones that don't.

Best books ever!
I love your writing K. Bromberg and will continue reading your books.

KB ACED AN EMOTIONAL HEA FOR 2 LOVED CHARACTERS

This book is only for those fans who have already listened to Colton and Rylee's story and, as we catch up with them, they're still very happy, deeply in love and they are about to be even happier..... overjoyed infact. Although they're still madly in love with each other someone from their past is out to destroy them and hopefully tear them apart - which adds drama, anguish and intrigue to the story. There is also angst when one of her precious boys is to be sent to live with his no good druggie of an Uncle which brings about heartache and regression of his spirits.... and Rylee is unable to help.

Then it loses it's pace slightly when Rylee becomes depressed as one thing after another goes hopelessly wrong and she is in a very dark place - but Colton's there by her side as the months pass looking after her, supporting her and doing all he can to bring his wife back to him. It's a heartbreaking look into an all too overlooked mental condition. Dual POV's and the narration, as always, adds depth and life to all the main characters throughout the passion-filled, frightening, heartbreaking, joyous, frustrating or romantic situations they find themselves plunged into.

Worth a credit? I've loved this series, it was brilliantly written, awesomely narrated and yes it's creditworthy BUT only as an addition to the previous books.

Disappointed, but personal preference reasons

Starting out by saying that I LOVE K. Bromberg! I have READ the rest in this series, so I think part of my disappointment in the narration may be that once you've read in your mind a lot about characters, I think we develop a subconscious idea of what they "sound" like, never the same as a narrator.

The story for me was almost hard to finish at times. I understand that in real life there are challenges and what happens in the character's lives is very realistic. That being said, I also read or listen to books as a means to escape from the things going on in my own life/mind and the struggles experienced in most of this book, hit a little close to home for me. That's the most that I can say without "spoiling."

The sex scenes were hot in true KB style but compared to the rest of the series, much fewer and some clouded by angst. Just not the escape from reality that the rest of the books were for me. I refused to give up on it mid-story, but also probably my least favorite book that I've read by this author.

Such a Downer

I was in a bad mood the entire time I read this. 14 hours long. And 13.5 hours of angst and depression.

What a surprise

This was one book I waited a very long time to read. I am a huge fan of the the first two books in the series, but was very disappointed in the third book, Crashed. Crashed sort of turned me off to this author and the series. This was very disappointing to me because I read the first book when that was the only book out and had to wait for the second book to be released as well as the third book. Then recently one of her books were on a sale with audible so I grabbed it up and fell in love with that story and started listening to her other books and decided to give this series a chance and now I wish I hadn’t waited as long as I did because this story fully restored my love of the series. There was so much emotion and ups and downs as well as a few twists that even though you know what happens after this story you don’t really know how it happens. This book also felt more like how she was with the first two books in the series and I couldn’t stop listening. The narrators were new to me and they did an awesome job in portraying the characters along with the secondary characters. You could really visualize the scenes with how they spoke. I will be checking out other books they narrate because they made listening to the story so enjoyable.

Hands up for HEAs

I was worried for a bit that tragedy would rear it's ugly head. And though I'm elated Rylee and Colton got their much desereved happily ever after, I'm sad this series has ended.

This book touched on a subject that isn't widely talked about or fully understood. Post partum depression is an ugly condition and could end in tragedy if not treated.

Colton was so loving and 100% all in with Rylee in this book. These two will forever be in my heart.

These narrator's bring final perfection to the series

This series is one of my absolute favorites. I read and re-read, and listen and re-listen to Audible. Riley and Colton's saga resonates deep within me and sometimes I just need a fix and have to readand/or listen to some chapters or a book. The term "I race you," gets every time. The narrator's, Sean Crisden and Tatiana Sokolov, nail the essence of Colton and Riley, as well as that of Andy, Beckett, and Haddie. I wish I could have afforded the whole audio set, but the three I have serve drive to hear it from time to time. Just the way Sean Crisden's raspy voice says "Rules" gives me chills. I haven't come across another audio book with these specific narrator's, but would love to have them.
