Excellent

You do expect experts to be telling you the truth and you take it at face value... unless it’s political obviously, then you’re a sceptic at best!

Truly enlightening appraisal

I acknowledge that this particular episode could be seen as "preaching to the choir", what with the BLM movement and much debate over the influence of empire on the current world situation. So I was cautious. Sandbrook though is his usual cool dispassionate self, always enthusiastic but still measured and forensic in his analysis. Of all the episodes I found this one the standout. Apart from all the rest. Well written, narrated and best of all the summation is excellent.
