Summary

With such huge diversity in both form and habits, what is it that makes a dinosaur distinct from a crocodile or a lizard?

Ben explores the stores in London’s Natural History Museum to meet the earliest known dinosaur and learns of the cataclysmic events that came about at the dawn of this incredible group of animals.

Bought this for my kids but ended up just me

Perfectly written and presented for family education and entertainment although my children’s attention span still leaves a lot to be desired, however I was compelled to learn more even when they faded away. Excellent for a long drive when the kids are trapped :-)

Dinosaur Revists!

I love the narrator, he has a great voice and the little added music and animal sounds are great! It sounds like I'm listening to a documentary instead of listening to one! The only reason I give this 4 stars is that it is like a documentary in that I can't see what they are looking at, they describe the bones or placements but they are still talking as if it's in front of them. Highly recommend for a listen if you were ever fascinated by dinosaurs.

Informative

The narrative is well thought out and logically presented. The subject matter is very interesting, interlaced with key experts. I have listened to the series twice, second time with my children who were equally as raptured. I would recommend.

Fascinating talk

Really impressed by the narration and interviewing such eminent professors and stalwarts in the field of paleontology. It is inspiring and exciting to hear to top-notch in the field of dinosaur research and visiting the natural history museum and it is basement stores, reviewing the original fossils and discussing on the podcast. Certainly not for only grown-ups, I will get my children to listen to this now.
The talk summaries some advances including molecular fossil studies, which points to the direction of sophistication in the modern dinosaur research.

Not just for grown ups

My 9 year old son and I listen to this in the evening. Wonderfully informative, we often do some further reading on issues raised or look up some of the lesser know dinosaurs for a visual guide. Just enough information for the casual listener presented very well.

Brilliant stories and so fun!

If you have any interest in dinosaurs or the natural world, any vague interest at all, you will LOVE this. Honestly, one of the best productions I've listened to in a while. Super fun, storytelling is perfect, the structure is so good. Would LOVE to see more of this kind of thing from Audible

Dino Delight!

I have been wanting something like this for a long time! An interesting and entertaining programme that demonstrates that you don't need to be an 8 year to be fascinated by dinosaurs. Many thanks to Audible for making this available to it's audience.

No matter what you know about Dinos, this is for you. Amazingly interesting for the novice (me!) and loads of facts even for the die hard Dino fan. Love it, can’t wait to listen to no.2!
