Summary
For the Club’s first meeting, the book of the week is Denise Mina’s The Less Dead.
Graham talks to Denise herself about her brand of ‘tartan noir’ while our clubbers reveal their opinions after reading it. We go behind the mic to hear from actress Maxine Peake on bringing to life DH Lawrence’s classic, Lady Chatterley’s Lover.
All this and plenty more including recommendations for the best suspense novels and picks from Amazon’s romance chart.

Lovely little find!
Just stumbled across this podcast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Love anything with Graham Norton presenting and this didn’t disappoint. Thought the questions asked of the authors / speakers were really refreshingly engaging. Looking forward to the next episode!

Excellent original podcast.
Book clubs or book discussions come in a variety of ways. This podcast with Graham Norton and Alex Clark was fresh , easy on the ears and it works well. Good mix exploring new and older books. Definately I will carry on listening.

Just What Was Missing
I have been looking for a book club, I love reading but also love to hear people's views on books. Graham Norton does a great job of hosting the podcast. Good to hear from authors and honest reviews from readers.
Will be listening again!

Lovely listen
Great mix of book review, audio review, chatting to professionals and bookclubbers. A very enjoyable 45 mins. Graham obviously loves books and shows genuine interest and asks insightful questions with his usual humour.

Great idea!
It is always difficult to choose a book and having many different opinions and perspectives helps a lot…
