Funny

Nothing ground-breaking but I did find it funny and enjoyable. Actually listening for a second time and still enjoying it.

Not bad story, but painfully voiced

I just found this a bit irritating and boring. The overall theme and premise is a funny one, but the script and acting (voices) made it sound a little "carry on". Nothing clever or new, just forgettable and annoying.

Clever writing but terribly executed

Only managed one episode, "Chauffeur". The character of Warren is frustrating beyond belief, not sure if it's Marek Larwood's attempt at an east London bloke or the unfunny awkward "jokes". Other characters were just bland and predictable. Production quality was good, namely when Amy was calling Warren on the phone. Whilst the plot had premise - a seemingly oblivious temp working as a getaway driver for bank robbers - it was executed terribly by the voice actors. Very unmemorable.

Rubbish.

Complete sh*te. Don't bother. If you like Mrs. Brown's boys then you'll probably like this... Couldn't get past the first 10 minutes.

Good iea, just not my kind of funny

Really good story idea, really well presented and produced. I listened just to see what happened, but it's just not my kind of funny. It's a competitive market and this just didn't turn my handles.

Not bad

I thought it wasn’t that bad it didn’t make me laugh but it did have me wondering how the story would end. It was slightly funny in parts but very cheesy in others

Don't bother

It's not worth wasting the time downloading it. Five minutes was more that I could bear.

not worth the effort

infantile and a waste of time. Not worth the effort made to down load the book.

Comedy? No.

Thought I would treat myself to a bit of comedy on a long drive but had to pull over and choose something else. What a mistake. I suffered the first story without breaking a smile. I should have given up after the first 5 minutes but in order to give a fair review I persevered until the end of the story. No way was I sitting through any more of this rubbish. Story was unfunny, performances were bad, overall the worst audible experience I’ve had in 15 years.

Series 2 please! Funniest thing on audible!

After listening to over 36 comedy audiobooks and series, classics, radio-plays this is the funniest thing I’ve heard. As a fan of Monty Python, Spaced / Simon Pegg, Mighty Boosh, Terry Pratchett, this was right up my street as a fun intelligently silly comedy set in uniquely themed enthralling episodes that avoid being formulaic and stay fresh. Well written, produced and with convincing performances. Please can we have a 2nd series?
