Summary

Billierosie once again shows that she is a true master at writing hotter-than-hot BDSM erotica. Enslaving Eli is a must for fans of the genre!

When Jasmine the beautiful dominant meets tall, hunky Eli at the dullest party in the world, Eli wants to see her again. He doesn't understand her reluctance, they've had fun together and it isn't as if he is asking her to marry him, just maybe a cup of coffee. When Jasmine tells Eli of her secret life, Eli is intrigued and gradually he is initiated into a world of BDSM that as Jasmine's submissive, is impossible for him to walk away from.

Jasmine tells Eli of a secret, exclusive organization, The Coterie. The Coterie is centuries old. Its members are dominant women; their ethos in life is total submission of the male. Eli endures humiliation, depravity and absolute control at the hands of Mistress Jasmine. But Eli and Jasmine are more than mistress and slave, they have fallen in love. When Mistress Jasmine is killed in a automobile accident, Eli is devastated. Officially, Eli now belongs to The Coterie. He is property. He is told that he is to be sold to another Mistress. Eli, however, has other ideas. This story explores a much under discussed orientation; that of the male submissive. Relinquishing control is not regarded as a masculine way to go about things. But in relinquishing control, Eli's life is fulfilled.

Superbly written erotica

We need more erotica written to this standard. Billierosie writes great fuck scenes but also tells a story beautifully. I especially liked the description of Eli's enhanced perception as he went to his branding.

I loved the complexity of Eli's character and the relationship he had with his Mistress - Jasmine. This story is in a different class e story to the usual slew of erotica titles on Audible. . Don't get me wrong, there are some great fuck scenes. Even if you don't think you would find FemDom too appealing, in BillieRosie's hands, it becomes exquisite. The complexity of some of the scenes is amazing. And they are hot.

But this is more than just a fuck story.

There are highs and lows and an ending which is perfect. It's both touching and true without a hint of sentimentality. The ending fits. And that is probably the best thing you can say about an ending.

Top class.

Very Interesting

This one had a story with it and I was happy with that. Eli had an interesting life and full of sex as a sub.

Surprising!

Overall: 4.5 Crazy Ass Stars!!!
Performance: 4 Stars
Story: 5 Stars

This was different from what I usually read and not really my cup of tea. However, I'm not one to DNF unless I simply can't get into the story. Not the case with this book. I was immediately drawn in right from the start. The feels at the beginning did me in. I just had to know Eli's story.
What really surprised me was the emotional tone of the story. I loved the drama of it.
The narration was good. Rose Lachland's voice was soothing and kept me listening. However, she pretty much kept the same tone for all characters.
For not being a troupe in my wheelhouse, so to speak, this was an entertaining listen. I really did enjoy it overall.

Female Dom

This was my first experience reading anything about a female Dom. I loved it! Billierosie truly knocked this one out of the park with the way she articulated every detail.

He finds his true love

What made the experience of listening to Enslaving Eli the most enjoyable?

The story of the Coterie - their ancient roots in Artemis & Diana and how they still continue today by recruiting women to carry on the tradition of dominance

What did you like best about this story?

One of the final scenes where Jasmine allows Eli to make passionate love to her. The author hinted earlier that some dommes marry their subs and I was lead to believe of the possibility. The branding ritual seemed to have sealed the deal. Readers will be surprised by both the subsequent tragedy and the epilogue.

Have you listened to any of Rose Lachlan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Lachlan narrates the story from the 3rd. person POV fairly evenly. Her performance was neutral to the characters. She made the tale interesting enough to hear in one sitting.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I almost cried at the tragedy in the end but since it was foretold in the first chapter I was not surprised. I began to feel empathy for Jasmine as her character developed. It was sad to see how it ended. The story continued to maintain the central theme of the Coterie with a recovery for Eli.

Any additional comments?

Although short on dialogue and specific action, the story provides an amazing depth of plot and revelation of the characters motivations. Readers of this story will be treated to a remarkable tale about a little-known society.
