The Devil and His Dove series continues in Enraptured....

I'm lost. I'm no longer the golden girl from California seeking a world of adventure. He pulled me into his dark underworld. I might have escaped, but he still has me enslaved, craving his dark, devilish touch and the pleasures of the world to which he introduced me.

But he broke more than my boundaries. He broke me. I hate him...loathe him...can't stop dreaming about my master - half wishing he'd find me and punish me like only he can.

Christos: My little dove ran. But I will find her. No one escapes El Diablo. And when I do find my little dove, she will learn just how far I'll go to keep her forever.

Authors note: This is audiobook two of the series. Audiobook one, Enslaved, should be listened to first.

I have enjoyed listening to Jecy and Christos story. though the ending was anticlimactic for me, the story is good.

Quite a Good story

Wow, Christos and Jesse’s dark, twisted story continues. The first book in this series, Enslaved, ends with Jesse escaping after Christos betrayal. With help from friends she gets away and hangs low and starts to build her life back up. Christos is determined to get his dove back, he is on a rampage searching everywhere for her. When he finally her, he abducts her and takes her to his mother’s estate in England. The area is secluded and guarded so she will never get away from him again. Jax Hart takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride. At first Jesse wants nothing to do with Christos but after a near death incident Jesse realize what she really wants and that is Christos. But Christos sees otherwise, he thinks she just developed Stockholm Syndrome and just thinks she wants him. Has Christos grown a conscience or is this just part of his master plan. Will setting his little bird free have her flying back? This is one intense story, it is dark and emotional with some hot kink. The ending just tore at my heart I hope Christos knows what he is doing. I can’t wait to find out in Jax Hart’s next book “Entwined” the conclusion to “The Devil and His Dove” Thanks for another great story!

I listened to the Audible edition, Rodney Falcon is a wonderful narrator and voice performer. He brings the characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. He projects the emotions and attitude of his characters in his performance and adds the perfect amount of dramatic flair to enhance the story even more. Thank you for another great listen🎧.

Insanely good, the heat, the suspense and betrayal is so captivating that I can’t wait for more. I didn’t want the book to end but I needed the end.

I can’t wait to dive into the next book if only for Rodney Falcon’s voice again

This series has kept me in its grips from the beginning. In Book 2, Christos starts questioning what he has been doing with and to Jessie, while Jessie grapples with further captivity and wishing for freedom, but falling in love despite her brain telling her not to do this. This series does an excellent job depicting the growth and changes of both characters as they fight, fall in love, push and pull each other to new depths and new heights. It’s about madness and wholeness, obsession and inexplicable attraction. So, so very good!

Book 2 is as fantastic as book 1!
