Summary

Have you ever wished you had a guidebook that would help you understand people in your life? Or get caught up wondering what makes your colleagues, partner, or child tick? Or yearn to understand what they are really feeling? Do you need a gateway to becoming more self-aware?

Stop wasting your time searching for solutions, for you’re in luck! There is such a thing called the enneagram that tackles all this!

In essence, this concept describes the structure and dynamics of nine personality types that branch out into paths to a more integrated and rewarding life as it presents other ways of how one may perceive and behave in the world. This doesn’t by definition put us in a box but helps us see the box from another point of view outside our limited perspective. Undoubtedly, each type of personality has its own strength.

Challenges can arise when this so-called strength is overused, which causes our weaknesses to surface, and our point of views becomes rigid, which results with us getting caught up in automatic habits. By recognizing, adjusting, and compensating for these unconscious patterns, we can live more satisfying lives, enjoy healthier relationships, and connect to our true core.

Through this understanding, you are able to experience your life through an authentic expression of self in a way that honors your highest good and the highest good of those around you.

Tina Madison, a well-known psychologist and researcher, has been using this powerful tool during her entire career to help many people transform the quality of their work, family, and intimate relationships - and to deepen their understanding of themselves.

In Enneagram: #1 Made Easy Guide to the 9 Type of Personalities, the author will guide you step-by-step in a wise and deep explanation, showing you all the different facets and possible interpretation of these concepts in your life more practically.

Briefly, in this audiobook you will learn:

  • What enneagram really is and how you should approach it.
  • Identify your personality type with the enneagram test.
  • Develop a deep sense of self-awareness through a crystalline identification of your personality traits.
  • Highlights opportunities for further growth and gives you a strong idea on what needs to happen in order for you to experience a better side of you.
  • A wise explanation and interpretation of the enneagram’s nine working personalities.
  • And much more.

No two people were made to be the same, and therefore, no two approaches should be the same, either. Through this secret and proven guide, you will learn what identifies you as a unique individual and how you can use this information to highlight your individuality and experience your best life possible as a result.

Fantastic book.

Personally I'm not into listening books that try to tell you who you are based on your personality. That said it does a good job explaining itself. My personal problem with this kind of thing is that I could ascertain this idea of self for myself, without needing to label it. If you like having labels you can label your personality.

It is clearly explained and easy to listen.

This book did exactly what I wanted it to; it let me find out my Enneagram type with a minimum of fuss. It is clearly explained and easy to listen, and easy to follow the steps to determine your type. I wouldn't recommend the Kindle edition for first-time listen, as the process for determining your type involves a lot of flipping back and forth between sections of the book, which would be much easier with the physical book.

Very interesting to listen.

Very interesting to listen. I wish I could have the chance to listen it some years ago, it would be much helpful. At my age, I found the personal development part is quite too long as I knew it all already.

I found this book useful.

I found this book useful, however sometimes a bit challenging to follow and complete the exercises. Some thought-provoking and applicable concepts and worth perusing if you're interested in this subject.

This is a helpful book.

This is a helpful resource for self-discovery using the Enneagram using the Narrative typing system (rather than a standard assessment). It also provides mindfulness and application practices for growth.

Such a valuable.

Such a valuable, practical resource in a world of watered-down enneagram clutter. Chris’s passion for getting to work and truly using the enneagram as a tool to connect to God and one another is so important.

I have been interested in this book.

This was the exact next step I needed in my enneagram journey! I have been wrestling and going back to the pages in this book since I finished it months ago. I can't say enough great things about this book and how it has helped me grow.

Thank you for such a powerful tool!

This book has given me peace in ways I could have never imagined. It has helped me to understand who I am and why. It has taught me to love others in a way they need to be loved. It has increased my prayer life by defining how I need to pray. I will also lead my work team and get better business results as they understand the Enneagram. Thank you for such a powerful tool!

The personality types are real and helpful.

I was surprised at how readable the book was and how relatable. The personality types are real and helpful, and it is relatively free of psychobabble and new age gibberish. Just clear, concise ways to understand some deeply ingrained patterns you have that may no longer be working for you.

A great supplement to this book.

A great supplement to this book is the enneagram podcasts by artist Ryan O’Neal. Chris is also interviewed in those podcasts and makes several references to the book.

Well explained.

Sacred Enneagram is a deeper and far more insightful dive into the gram than I have found elsewhere. For me, Chris Heuertz has become the authority in this arena.

Understanding book.

I'm not sure I'd recommend this as a person's first Enneagram book, but once you feel like you have the basics and some understanding of your own type, this book will explode your understanding of the Enneagram beyond a personality typing system into nine different ways we interact with reality. That's the best I can explain in a few sentences, but it's a very worthwhile journey.

This was a fairly easy listen.

This was a fairly easy listen (and I say this as someone who has a hard time listen ), which was really nice. Some of the concepts are a little difficult to understand, but I think that was a personal thing, everyone is different. :) It made me think a lot more and I really appreciated it.

I have listened to several Enneagram book.

I have listened to several enneagram books. This one goes deeper than most in conveying the core elements of the enneagram, explaining what is known about its history, and most of all, offering helpful practices for positive change and growth. The practices for growth are an identifying feature of this book. So many books stop at awareness and prompt listen to become aware and just try something different. This book urges the listen toward God and toward divine help in personal transformation.

Well done.

Wow! This was such a unique presentation and education on the enneagram. Beautifully explained, honoring of all the enterotypes, and respectful to the ancient history of the Enneagram. So well done and I am excited to begin my contemplative practice!
