Summary

Are you new to the English language? Maybe, you are a native speaker who wants to learn more about the language. Or, maybe, you have decided that the English language is too complicated and that English grammar makes absolutely no sense. If any of these sounds like you, then you have picked up the one book that will answer all your questions and help ease your fears about English language and grammar.

When you first start learning any new language or are trying to learn more about the language you have been speaking all your life, you will run into so much new information, it might be hard to take it all in. That is precisely why English Grammar Rules You Must Know: Writing and Speaking 101 for Beginners, Daily English for Friendly Conversation & Business Applications, Understanding Grammar to Avoid Errors That Make You Look Dumb! is the only book you will ever need to learn all you need to know about the English language.

Did you know that the English spoken today is actually a mixture of languages from many different ancient groups that settled in what is now known as England? Their unique dialects eventually blended to form the English language, which then went through even more changes as the world continued to change. The language was further influenced by modern print and the beginnings of the printed newspaper.

In this book, you will explore the different parts of speech that make up English grammar. You will learn all about:

  • Nouns and verbs
  • Adjectives and adverbs
  • Punctuation
  • Synonyms and antonyms

All of the different parts that make up English grammar have something to give to the language. Where the nouns and verbs make up the basis of the language, the adjectives and adverbs give it life and interest. And after you have learned all the basic parts of speech and how to use them, you will see how easy it is to:

  • Write sentences
  • Compose paragraphs
  • Assemble an entire essay

There is also some discussion about the difference between casual speaking and writing and the more formal conversation and writing that would take place in school or in a place of business. It is important that you know how to use both kinds and that you are comfortable moving from one type to the other. While it is important to know the ways to speak and write properly, you do not want to do it all the time. When thinking of business writing, most people focus on proper usage of subjects and verbs. For this reason, you should learn how to use proper grammar.

So, take note of this book, as it is the only one you will ever need to answer all your questions about the English language and grammar.

Buy this book now, and get started on your new path to mastering the English language.

Helps tremendously with my writing

I am an amateur writer but have published one ebook, planning on publishing more in the near future. This audio-book has helped me tremendously in improving my writing. I am not a native English speaker, so I'm constantly learning and hopefully improving my English skills.

Amazing audio-book!

I've been a public speaker for years, and a Competent Toastmaster since 2004. This has excellent tips and made me re-evaluate my style. Wonderful! I purchased the audiobook as well. Amazing content and tips!

I guess this makes me a Geek.

Not only did this teach me many skills and techniques related to English grammar, but it also entertained me with background information and even a couple of stories which I thought was awesome.

Educative Guide.

If you enjoy English as more than just the necessary means of communication, this book may be for you. Of course, if you’re an English professor, you may find it more entertaining than educational. All others may benefit from the entertaining journey of common mistakes.

Spectacular!

In all seriousness, what a fun and delightful book. It settles arguments such as in the occasional scrabble skirmish, is nicely organized, and a kick to listen. We have it in one of the most coveted spots in our house—in the magazine rack next to the toilet. Only the most special books end up there, ones that can be picked up and browsed through for no particular amount of time. The fact that it is designated for toilet listening is in no way a comment on its theme and quality, we love it!
