I love these sweet historical books. If you want an exhaustive history lesson this may not be for you. I like the overviews of the period and then you can explore further detailed information if so inclined.

This is an excellent audible. I admit I was largely unaware of the ongoing matter of the Magna Carta. I feel that I understand the world a little better knowing the past and essence of the Magna Carta.

The audiobook on the Magna Carta was indeed fascinating. Outside of knowing it was an essential audible, written during the Middle Ages, I virtually knew nothing else about it.

According to my knowledge, many countries have based their constitutional law upon the Magna Carta and respect it as a foundation for sovereignty, democracy, and the rule of law. This audiobook tells about the Magna Carta, its collapse, its renewal, and its transformation into the laws of today.
