Regurgitation, sent it back

I had hoped the 2nd volume would contain some fresh insight, once I got past, what sounded like a repeat of the 1st volumes Introduction, but I found nothing new, I am quite capable of reading the originals, so I returned it before I wasted more of my timr

Poorly Edited, Repetitive, and kind of creepy

As other reviewers noted, there are strange edits where a different voice cuts in to add two or three words in the midst of a sentence. Every few chapters the author includes passages from other books -- often the same passage that has been included in an earlier chapter. Finally (if you can make it past all of these muddled bits) the author proceeds to teach one how to manipulate others after giving a step by step guide about how to avoid being manipulated.

I rarely review books. This one is so bad that I felt I had to warn others.

Shallow in content and unprofessional in execution

Shallow in content and unprofessional in execution. Pauses in recording and volume changes made it a difficult Listen.

narrator was hard to listen to

struggled. information was good, but narrator who was dry and monotone. also sounded like she had a slight speech impediment. how one gets a narrating job when it sounds like she is talking with pudding in her mouth is beyond me.

disappointment

Don't buy this book. If you are looking for info on any on the subjects really try and focus on one of each and explore it with different author. Maybe i was looking for something more deeply explained, but every chapter was a disappointment. Its also shameful for author to copy full paragraphs and whole ideas from one place in the book to another. I don't buy a book to read the same things in few different places, just because it suits the author not to write it differently, not to explain it in different words ("i would copy a part about ... ") Also 8 times to listen full chapter about author - who she is and why should you listen, just with few different words at the beginning and end (connected with chapters) is just not bearable! It is not a marketing campaign for the author, its a book!
I usually dont write reviews as everybody has different taste. I just had to do it now, because i really do not remember when i was so dissipated with a book about such a interesting topics!

Pretense of knowledge

Information couched in such a formulaic way that it wasn’t enjoyable even at 1.5X speed. Like many non fiction books that are overstuffed with floss there are utterly a few paragraphs that are just informative. Better to read the source material.

crystals and oils?

this book presents itself as much more scientific than it truly is. if you are interested in psychology look elsewhere, if you love crystals and essential oils and other hokey "homeopathic" remedies then by all means read this book.

Emotional Intelligence Mastery

Found the presentation iinformative. Covered a number of important areas in mental health, where CBT can is very helpful. Good narrations by all three.
