It's quick easy to follow with many useful tools.

The author touches on some major points that directly related to my personal life. Not only does this book encourage self-acceptance, but it provides the tools to help identify the mental challenges that hold us back from living our best life. I suffer from anxiety and stress and since becoming a parent I have dealt with intrusive thoughts and self-doubt. This book is a blueprint for learning a more positive and healthy way to deal with these thoughts. What I like about the author is that he doesn't claim to know it all, he just offers what he has learned as a way to exercise better mental health. I highly recommend this book. It's quick easy to follow with many useful tools.

Everyone should listen to this book.

If more people were taught emotional intelligence, there'd be less dependency on anti-depressants, less violence, and better harmony worldwide. I was never taught how to manage my emotions healthily so that they support me and my goals and learning this one skill has made me realize how valuable it is. Everyone should listen to this book.

Good audiobook!

I decided to purchase this book because various aspects of my studies in college bring up the Emotional Intelligence issue from time to time. It is a fairly good book. The author provides detailed exercises with how to deal with having more insight into your emotional being and ways to work on them. You can take a free emotional test assessment that comes with a code when you purchase a new book. Good book

Invaluable Advice!

One of my favorite things about this book is that it is always relevant, and is one that can be referenced, listen time and time again, and is incredibly valuable to the aspiring professional or the emotionally inept. I identified emotional intelligence as a personal and professional opportunity of mine to develop. This book has been invaluable in helping me understand myself better, as well as the way that thoughts and emotions can influence behavior and relationships. Invaluable Advice.

It's a perfect guide for me.

Apart from opposable thumbs, the brain is the main advantage humans have over the rest of the animal kingdom. It controls our actions, thoughts, and behaviors all while also taking charge of the body's internal physical processes to ensure all of the other organs are working as they should be.

Might as well read a thesaurus

This is my first real self-help still book and I was not prepared for the cacophony of word vomit. I remember when I first learned that vocabulary words will increase my grades is school, I opened a thesaurus and blindly used the words, this book is the peak of such an issue. I truly feel bad for the narrator, trying to give pace and Grammer to what feels like a first draft. This book is hard to follow even when slowed. However that being said, there is good information in the book and I was able to take away some positive information. If the writer and editor could take the proverbial blindfold off then I would think about reading a different book by them. maybe.
TL:DR book is hard to follow do to poor word choice. good information but not good enough

The best feeling in the world is happiness.

The best feeling in the world is happiness. People spend the best of their lives in pursuit of it, or so they think. We work so hard to be able to afford the good things, and the experiences we believe will bring us the utmost joy. It is not a wonder to see someone spend millions of dollars or spend thousands of minutes doing the things they believe will bring them utmost satisfaction.

I found an Amazing guide for me.

I found an Amazing guide for me -- Emotions are not tied to reason, though, because even babies give out emotional responses without understanding the situation. Your emotional response may also not have anything to do with what is happening to you in the present. However, to understand how you are feeling. You need to employ reason.

Just wanted to let people know how powerful.

My best friend has been very depressed for a long time. I saw this book one night at the mall and picked it up for her. I had completely forgotten about it when last night she called to thank me (and Self-Coaching) for changing her life. Just wanted to let people know how powerful this book is.
