This is a really good book, the storyline is fast paced and keeps you rivetted to your seat, Not bedtime listening but superb any other time. When Tom goes to visit his grandfather he finds out much more about his family than he really wants to know all via the ghost of a young girl called Emily who I would certainly not want to meet in daylight let alone on a dark night! Highly recommended. Another book i've heard narrated by Howard J. Davey and I think he is superb, sounds interested in what he is reading and really adds atmosphere to the narrative impo.

Tom needs the help of girl ghost called Emily , who you do not want to meet, at any time , solve a mysterious events in his grandfathers country house. A perfect short ghost book, that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat.

I really enjoyed this book, the narrator gave perfect performance, drawing us into the story slowly and steadily, giving just the right amount of uncertainty and creepyness to the unfolding events to make it impossible to stop listening.

Although this is a very modern book it has the brilliant feel of a true classic ghost story, not just in the setting of the story but in the way it is framed and presented to us and the characters within it.
