Summary

WARNING: This is the final book in a sexy, steamy, over-the-top paranormal romance, reverse harem series! It includes detailed sex scenes (and lots of them) and terrible plumbing puns and is best enjoyed with a glass of wine and a sense of humor.

Seven dysfunctional, supernatural spouses.

One jealous, psychotic childhood friend.

A match...made in deception?

My name is Arizona Smoke, and I’m the fated soul mate to six elemental dragons. Or, at least I thought I was. We even got married - big white dress, custom suits for my beaus, crazy mother-in-law - but now there’s this girl who claims that she is their rightful soul mate.

At first, I hated the hunky assholes who’d dropped into my life unannounced, flipped my world upside down, and dragged me into supernatural society kicking and screaming. But now? I’m starting to fall for them, all six of them. I mean, I’d taken the plunge and walked the aisle for these guys, hadn’t I? But this girl - Gemma - she wants my guys to be hers.

Fate must hate me, because I’ve got more than just relationship drama to deal with: My biological parents still want me dead, the kidnapped spirit elementals are still missing, and I’m pretty sure my best friend is trying to kill me. As if that wasn’t enough, someone’s raided my inherited wine cellar, and all the booze has gone missing!

I'm Ari Smoke, blushing (hah) bride, nymphomaniac, and royally pissed off.

Being married to six elemental studs is nice...but wondering if I get to keep them, not so much.

Elements of Desire is a full-length comedic paranormal, reverse harem romance. This means our leading lady has six male love interests and doesn't have to choose between them. This book is full of steamy sex, ridiculous plumbing puns, and heaps of action, intrigue, and...well, more puns. This is book 3 of 3 - the final book in the series!

Fabulousness In Writing

This series is just so funny - the authors break the fourth wall and poke fun at themselves, the banter between characters is on point, and the protagonist is absolutely hilarious. The character arcs are interesting and the bedroom scenes are different and hot. The authors get away from all the tired cliches and inject some reality into the sex, which makes a really refreshing change. I don’t think any woman in reality refers to her sexual organs as “my core” or “the apex of my thighs” all the time in her inner monologue - and thankfully these two authors agree so we get some scenes using real language for once! 5 stars all round for this trilogy and well worth a read (or listen). Also the narrator is ace and nails the Australian/British/American accent blend for the main character, and the Irish and Southern accents of two of the other characters certainly sound good enough to my untrained ear.

Perfect end to the funniest, sexiest series!

I genuinely had to put this book down several times because I was laughing too hard to carry on reading. The whole story, while having its serious moments, is incredibly hilarious. The puns are out of control!

"It's our plan that we can penetrate the back door while they're all asleep, then slip through the halls with smooth, lubricated precision. Once the targets have been obtained, we will withdraw and disappear into the night. Sound good?"

I died. And I loved it.

Hilarious

I absolutely loved listening to this book! It made the jokes and dialogue much more funny! I found myself laughing out loud several times! My bestie recommended the book and I would switch back and forth between the book and the audible... esp. while driving to work.

I'm not a fan of the breaking the 4th wall references.

I’m reviewing early bc...

I’m in chapter 3... and despite agreeing with a political view the authors threw out as commentary between characters, U.S. politics being brought up in a supernatural reverse harem novel is divisive and unwarranted. It’s going to take a lot to reverse the bad taste that commentary left me. Yuck!!! It makes me feel gross! I read/listen to romance (let alone RH supernatural romance) novels to escape the day to day reality of that BS... I certainly have been rubbed the wrong way within this chapter... especially the rubbish being said by some of the most loathsome characters in this series thus far.

This is not the format to spout political ideologies. I’m here for the sex, snarky wit and more sex! Not the cold shower version of reality those comments gave me in my version of escapism from real life.

Ok... I’m done ranting. I still love this series, and certainly can’t wait to finish... but I obviously feel passionate about keeping certain topics out of my “spank bank” material, so to speak... lol!

Weak ending

Wow the puns kind of went away but the story was weak at the end.

Good feel good finale

Overall I enjoyed the entire series. I got a little confused in this book regarding the Alfa ware wolf situation and the smelly Fae. They were on their side but not? Or maybe I missed them in the fight?
The series was full of comic relief and steam however I think the comedy was a little over the top.

The last book in this series is just a no.

Elements of mischief
Elements of ruin
I really wanted to like this series. I tried to get passed the stupid puns but in the last book the autor decides to make fun of the President and Republicans. This really upset me because this is supposed to be fantasy fiction so I didn’t appreciate the author putting her personal political view into the book. She doesn’t do it once but twice and it really angered me. After that I couldn’t continue. This makes me sad because I liked this author very much.

Keep Politics OUT!!!!

I get that these authors - Stunich in particular are hard-core feminists & every book they write has to have the heroine act as the same, but keep the political crap out of romance books!!! There was absolutely no point to a Democrat vs. Republican debate in this book but for some reason there it was. I read romance to ESCAPE real life, not have it shoved in my face.

She had to go there. Trump hater.

I was really loving the books until, low and behold, the stupid author had to take it political in book 3. Your main character doesn't like Trump. I already asked for a refund for my audio book. i stopoed listening right after she goes hateful. This was supposed to be a fictional book and she should have kept it that way. I along with millions of readers are President Trump fans!! I will never read this author again!
