Nice book with a good story but unfortunately a lot of just unnecessary ***** don't get me wrong, I swear with the best of them but it got annoying after a while. like the swear woods were there just to piss you off.

Loved this book, short enough to get through so quickly, yet it's packed with so much action, love, story. Never a dull moment, the characters are easy to like and want to follow, very much looking forward to the next installment!

So far another good start, with book 1, to another (Hooray!) Afterlife spinoff series from Stephanie Hudson. I love all the Afterlife/Transfusion, HellBeast etc books and found these books 1&2, and just about to start 3, just as good with great, if similar in type, characters. I love it when you get Characters crossing over from the other books as well. On the whole good reads and great escapism.

On the performance, personally, I found the female American accent a little annoying at first. but got used to it and both performances improved the further you got. Didn't take away from the overall enjoyment.

Great follow up book from Wards Siren. The story is fast paced with funny bits that made me laugh out loud.
