Story
When 17-year-old Isabella Swan moves to Forks, Washington to live with her father she expects that her new life will be as dull as the town itself. In spite of her awkward manner and low expectations, she finds that her new classmates are drawn to this pale, dark-haired new girl in town. But not, it seems, the Cullen family. These five adopted brothers and sisters obviously prefer their own company and will make no exception for Bella.

Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. Earth has been invaded by a species that takes over the minds of their human hosts while leaving their bodies intact, and most of humanity has succumbed. Wanderer, the invading "soul" who has been given Melanie's body, knew about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the too-vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn't expect.

Summary
This edition is available only to listeners residing in the UK or European Union.
"'Bella?' Edward's soft voice came from behind me. I turned to see him spring lightly up the porch steps, his hair windblown from running. He pulled me into his arms at once, and kissed me again. His kiss frightened me. There was too much tension, too strong an edge to the way his lips crushed mine - like he was afraid we had only so much time left to us."
As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob - knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?
Following the international bestsellers Twilight and New Moon, Eclipse is the much-anticipated third book in Stephenie Meyer's captivating saga of vampire romance.

Chapter 19 major glitch
I was quite happily listening to this book, until chapter 19 where the book glitches and misses around 14 book pages (!?!?) I’ve tried deleting the book and re downloading it but it still does it. I want to finish the book but now I’m wondering what else is wrong with it as chapter 5 repeats itself too.
Audible is this a problem with your version/copy of the audiobook? Or is it the actual recording of the book to blame?

Missing a big chunk!!!!
Ch19 4 minutes 50 seconds in there is a massive chunk missing from the book where Edward and Bella are discussing Jacob’s gift and the fact Edward wasn’t allowed to get her a gift. It jumps to where Bella is describing how she can tell who the different wolves are.

Great Book
This series is really good. Stephenie Meyer has such a great imagination, and the story is gripping. You can see where the story is going before it happens. Or just maybe I have Alice's gift too!
Great books each one better than the last.

Lived up to expectation
I listened to this one directly after 'New Moon'. The story flowed easily but included a fair amount of repetition to allow the book to stand alone if needed.
This book was effortless on my behalf. I was able to give it half my attention whilst doing mundane tasks and still felt engaged with the story.
The narration is very good and adds to an enjoyable story. I would happily recommend this audio to others.

Loved it
The narrator, even though it is a woman until the epilogue, has a talent for applying very individual styles to each voice. It is necessary due to the fact that 2 of the 3 main characters are male. I thoroughly enjoyed this book in paper but listening brought out nuances I hadn’t noticed before. Loved it!

voice actors are great
excellent voice actors. I liked the use of the male voice for Jacob's epilogue. I love how the main voice actor is able to differentiate and do male voices that are all distinct and don't sound silly
