The author (and narrator) clearly knows his medical statistics (American) and, without doubt, much more besides but I was expecting the 'simple rules for a long and healthy life' to be positive actions I could take (perhaps similar to the brilliant The Age Code book by Brian Cox) such as try to spend time in nature, eat more purple veg or eat fibre before protein to reduce blood sugar spikes etc.
However I gave up during the Don't be a Schmuck chapter....'don't be a schmuck - don't drink and drive', 'don't be a schmuck - don't take drugs', don't be a schmuck - don't smoke' etc. etc.
How we all live long, healthy, and happy lives is of immense interest and genuine pearls of wisdom probably awaited me further into the book but the format just didn't work for me.

Likely intended for the American Market
