Summary

It’s time to stop procrastinating and get more of the important things done! After all, successful people don’t try to do everything. They focus on their most important tasks and get those done. They eat their frogs.

There’s an old saying that if the first thing you do each morning is eat a live frog, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you’re done with the worst thing you’ll have to do all day. For Tracy, eating a frog is a metaphor for tackling your most challenging task - but also the one that can have the greatest positive impact on your life.

Eat That Frog! shows you how to organize each day so you can zero in on these critical tasks and accomplish them efficiently and effectively. The core of what is vital to effective time management is: decision, discipline, and determination. And in this fully revised and updated edition, Tracy adds two new chapters. The first explains how you can use technology to remind yourself of what is most important and protect yourself from what is least important. The second offers advice for maintaining focus in our era of constant distractions, electronic and otherwise.

This life-changing book will ensure that you get more of your important tasks done today.

Amazing content but narration a bit off

Ahead of anything negative I would say that this book has some really great advice that I look forward to putting into action in the new year. Really would recommend this to anyone, especially for those of us that are mentally and physically swamped by tasks.

Brian's recording of this is "ok" but it does sound like he's sloshing something in his mouth throughout the entire recording.

Amazing book with some real life changing lessons.

This is the first book I have ever read in virtually one single sitting. I was so inspired and enthralled by it, that I finished it very quickly.

I am so happy that there are 20 key lessons highlighted at the end, as I have highlighted so many paragraphs and taken so many notes that I was starting to confuse myself.

The lessons I have taken from this book will make a huge impact in my life. I know it.

Thank you

Play this on repeat!!!!

So easy to forget or not to apply the lessons taught simply because (as I learned from this book) we can only our full attention to one thing at a time.
So as you have that Aha! moment you begin the journey to the next.
Put it on repeat apply them and let them become a part of you.

Great book on how to get going and focus on important things
The key thing is focus on the things that matter it’s about discipline and doing the things that contribute the most it’s better to be productive than busy spend time on that which matters

Eat that frog.

some great tips/tasks in this audiobook. But it kinda defeats the object to need to write them on paper to remember them... if Audible included the key list with the purchase of the book, this would be a massive improvement
