This book felt like the plot got lost along the way.. the heroine kept getting kidnapped, saved, kidnapped again and again without much actual happening. It felt like a very long filler book, wasting my money

Confused about what the actual plot was

I must say I was a bit disappointed the first 1/3 of the book as it took way to long to understand what was going on. After that though, I liked it a lot. The ending was great. Looking forward to the next book.
