About this listen

Gabriel was a successful magic student until a classmate framed him, forcing him to join the Adventurer’s Guild to survive.

Unfortunately, his career as an adventurer doesn’t turn out quite how he was hoping. While on his first delve, he discovers more about monsters, dungeons, and souls than he ever imagined. With that knowledge comes power and new friends. But even as his exotic companions enrich his life, they also give him more to lose.

When Gabriel learns that time isn’t on their side, he has to find his way as a Dungeon Master before greedy adventurers and ravenous monsters strip away everything he holds dear.

Good harem story with nice characters. Not the best but an easy listning. Narration was also good.

Easy and entertaining

I liked the characters and the world - good work for a first novel. Andrea is awesome as usual.

Good fun.

I have touched on stories very, very similar to this. I have very few complaints. The conversations can be a hint repetative. however it is not entierly in a bad way.
I am not sure how I feel about the mc at the end. Perhaps I was silly, but I viewed him as a good hearted person who do not deserve the hand he got given. However by the end I am not really able to see him as a good guy any longer. I feel a fair bit of moral reasoning is lacking. Some more hesitation perhaps. Or at least more reflection. Especially considering his family and history.
It may be explainable. Perhaps its a matter of practicality. However I feel a gap there that is a bit uncomfortable to deal with.
Other than that I am looking forward to hearing more.

Quite enjoyable.
