Summary
Penguin presents the unabridged, downloadable audiobook edition of Dream a Little Dream by Giovanna Fletcher, read by Jessie Cave.
Sarah is doing just fine. Sure, she's been single for the last five years and has to spend an uncomfortable amount of time around her ex-boyfriend and their mutual friends and the rest at her tediously mundane job, but it's fine. She's happy(ish).
But it's not surprising that when Sarah starts dreaming about a handsome stranger, she begins looking forward to falling asleep at night. Reality isn't nearly as exciting. That is until her dream stranger makes an unexpected real-life appearance, leaving Sarah questioning everything she thought she wanted.
Because people never really find the person of their dreams...do they?

Perfect Christmas Chicklit!
Absolutely loved this book. I am currently studying for my exams, and this is perfect for my limited downtime.
If you like chick-lit that isn't mind-numbingly cheesy or boring (but that IS heart warming, sweet, funny and fun) - this is for you!

Fun
What made the experience of listening to Dream a Little Dream the most enjoyable?
I enjoyed listening to this. It was fun and entertaining.
Have you listened to any of Jessie Cave’s other performances? How does this one compare?
She is great at the voices, but I could do without the "echoing" dream sequences.

Enjoyable, fun story
So easy to get drawn into this book, spent longer listening than getting on with other tasks. Narrator was good and drew you into the story with ease. Definitely recommend this book.

Great book with a really enticing story, the dream sequences we a bit weird sounding but overall great book and Jessie Cave did a great job

Nice enough nut nothing special.
A nice enough story but nothing special. I was expecting more from Giovanna Fletcher as love her blogs etc... but this was a bit disappointing. The performance was quite monotonal at first but does get better.

Witty, romantic and genuinely fabulous!
I loved this book/audiobook - it had me laughing my head off in certain areas, shedding a tear or two in other places and being hooked from the start.
I loved the friendship group, the descriptions and the main characters thoughts throughout - I highly recommend it!

Couldn’t finish it
Narration was good, but the story and the writing wasn’t for me, got 3 hours in, in hope it would get better but nope.

Dreams do come true!
This was the second book of Giovanna Fletcher I have listened too and I liked the Story of having dreams that become true. I felt the ending was abrupt and wanted to listen more so I bought the sequel 'Christmas Dreams'.
The echo sound was good as that's when you knew Sarah was dreaming. The narrator Jessie Cave was brilliant.
💥🚨TRIGGER WARNING💥🚨
There is Pregnancy Loss/Miscarriage in this story and it is extremely emotional

Narrator not good!
Unfortunately I have had to give up listening to this book as the narration was too insipid and dreamy for me. However I like where the story is heading so I’m going to buy it on kindle and read it faster for one and I can also make up my own voices to suit in my head!! 🤣

good story. eh voice.
Story is great. Gi never fails to excite me in words. This narrator is has an echo to her voice and it's a bit soft and odd. The dream bits echo a lot.
