About this listen

You know it's time to reconsider your life choices when…

Where do I start?

Technically, it could have been worse. My visit to the dragon enclave could've ended with me being eaten. Somehow, I survived—with a few new bruises—and now, all I want is to go home. Back to Twenty-third Street. Back to my house, my cat, and my grumpy gargoyle roommate.

But nothing is as simple as it used to be. My store is in shambles, the man who might just be my mate has disappeared, and every bounty hunter in Oklahoma seems to want a piece of my hide—literally. Worst of all? The hunters aren't too picky about who gets hurt, and everyone I care about is now in their line of fire.

I've never been the sort of dragon to back down when the going gets rough, so I can't help but get involved. But this time, it's going to take more than a bit of dragon fire to keep my newfound family safe.

The fae queen has been making her own plans, none of which involve us surviving the next ten days. When we can't seem to stay ahead of her magic or her mercenaries, the only chance to save the people I love is a potentially deadly gamble—where a single mistake could bring disaster not only for us but for every Idrian refugee on Earth.

Only one thing is certain—I'm going to need a lot more tea.

If you love snarky dragons, dangerous fae, and sweet, slow-burn romance, don't miss the action-packed conclusion of this urban fantasy series that's perfect for fans of K. M. Shea, Shari L. Tapscott, or Annette Marie!

I really liked this book series, lots of adventure and excitement during the final battle with the Fae Queen. Kyra finding her family, friends and her mated bond with Draven. It was a great story.
It brought all the frayed ends together and the ending is all I could have asked for.
I would be happy to read further books.
The narration was good.

Great ending

Just how great it was

The story got very entertaining and the plot twist like in the second book was predictable, what I find very disappointing though is the finale. It felt rushed and some details seemed cut on purpose? If that is because there will be a different story saga for them, then I eagerly await for it, if not, then it’s too rushed and lacking.
