Summary

A thousand years have passed since a dragon has been seen in the world. Science and technology have replaced magic, which has dwindled until it has become little more than an element of myth and legend.

There are those who still have dragon blood flowing through their veins, distant descendants of the mighty creatures of old. These rare humans have the power to cast magic, the power to heal, and the power to craft alchemical weapons capable of starting wars...or ending them. But they are feared for those powers, and in recent centuries they have been hunted nearly to extinction.

The few remaining survivors must find a way to change how humanity perceives them or be lost to the world forever.

The Dragon Blood Omnibus includes three full-length novels of action, magic, and romance: Balanced on the Blade's Edge, book one; Deathmaker, book two; Blood Charged, book three.

I thoroughly enjoyed it x

I had never heard of this author or her dragon blood series but ordered the next one even before this was finished.... great characters with the odd laugh out loud moment that i can't wait to hear more about.

Good story, irritating narration

I enjoyed the premise of the story and found it very entertaining. My only irritation was in the narrators persistent dropping of middle consonants e.g mounain instead of mountain, dint instead of didn't and many more. It is a mark of the interesting writing that I stuck with it.

Great listening

Took me a couple of chapters to get used to the narrators voice, but the story pulled me in immediately!
Have listend to the rest of the series and recommend it to anyone that likes a load of action, a dash of romance, magic and some dragons :)

Really engaging !

At the start I got annoyed at the pronunciation of a few words but was soon sucked in by an excellent story. Not too much smooshy stuff, I love Jexi ( Jaxi?) ‘a sarcastic announcements, good story

Am away too see if I can find book 4 now !

This was so good the 27 and a half hours just flew

The excellent narration really brought the story to life and drew me quickly into the fantasy world of Sardelle and her Soul Blade Jacksy. I was thrilled that there were three books to listen to and I will certainly be looking for more from this author and from the narrator.

Simple but enjoyable

A good 40 odd hours of story's I thought was worth a try as it didn't cost anything extra. I found it far more enjoyable than expected. I would give it a perfect score but on more than 1 occasion characters would known things they never had explained to them and it can pull you right out.

But the books are enjoyable and not overly complicated. For light reading it's perfectly good time spent.

not great, but entertaining

Not a great story or narator. But if you like fantasy romances you will probably enjoy this one :)
the narator can't do a mans voice, thats a shame but I got used to it.
