Wonderful book read in his own charming and inimitable style. The only negative is the occasional speeding up (editor not narrator I suspect) which is very hard to take in at times

Monty Don is not only a prolific writer but also an outstanding narrator. His engaging style of reading makes one believe that one is in the middle of "Gardeners World". That his book(s) are a treasure trove of gardening wisdom does not even require any mention.
