Would you consider the audio edition of Double Whammy to be better than the print version?

Skink at his most, with a supporting cast of misfits, both good and bad, what's not to like? Brilliantly narrated too!

Like I said in the headline, indignation can be very funny, and it's a help for us tree huggers who maybe feel despondent at the enormity of the task we face if we want to make a difference in the fight for the environment.

Carl Hiaasen is one of the best living writers to come from the state of fraud and environmental disaster that is Florida. He speaks the truth with a talent for whimsy, comedy and thoughtfulness that is at once provocative and within the parameters of reason.

I highly recommend this book to all thinkers, curmudgeons and parasites. And the rest of humanity as well.

Watching Bad Monkey on TV and a friend commented that the books were good… this was my first but definitely won’t be the last. Great characters, well paced story, darkly comedic tones - all wrapped within a worthwhile caper of intrigue and indecent behaviour. I know little about fishing but this tidy little tale left no plot line untangled. I’m hooked!
