Charlie Donlea is just the best crime writer! I’ve read all his books and I usually use audio books to help me fall asleep but his keep me awake because they are just that exciting! Always an amazing plot twist (or 2 or 3) and well drawn characters. Cannot wait for his next book!

Really enjoyed the storyline here, until the ending when it did a really odd 360, made minimal sense and was super frustrating. I love Charlie Donlea but this one fell short of the mark! Also the narrators attempt at a Caribbean accent - awful!!

Downloaded this book after listening to “some choose darkness” which was gripping and brilliant.
The build up of this book was really good but the end was not logical at all. Real shame it had potential for a much better ending.
