Summary

Online dating is hard! Especially for men.

You have to put yourselves out there, reaching out to woman after woman, hoping for some sort of response, handling rejection after rejection. It's frustrating. And sometimes you just want to know what you've done wrong.

Why didn't that woman respond? Why did she suddenly stop communicating?

Well, there are lots of reasons.

You may be coming off as a douchebag and just not know it. Hell, you may be a douchebag who just doesn't know how to target his efforts properly.

Or you may just need a little help.

That's where Cassie Leigh comes in. She'll give it to you straight, no punches pulled. If you've been at this a while and just can't figure out what you're doing wrong, this is the book for you.

It's very insightful!

Would you listen to Don't Be a Douchebag again? Why?

Again, on top of the other times I've listened to it? Yes! It's straight forward and funny. Not hilarious, but amusing.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Don't Be a Douchebag?

It's one of the best online dating book. It's personally my favorite one. There was more than one memorable moment, but the track I listened to the most was the part about keeping your cool and not letting her see you sweat no matter how accomplished or how much more attractive she is than you. Simply not care and be sure of yourself. I really enjoyed that.

What about Erin Fossa’s performance did you like?

Her voice. I like hearing her speak, though I'm not too keen on a few curse words she used, but she was still amusing.

What did you learn from Don't Be a Douchebag that you would use in your daily life?

I learned never to be insecure when speaking to someone of the opposite sex, be honest, and pay more attention to her description than her photos. Also that it's not that last guys finish last, it's more that the wrong couples are speaking to each other because they are focused more on the photographs and not the descriptions.

Any additional comments?

I have a few other online dating audiobooks, mainly because not one source has all the answers and therefore it's always best to absorb from more than one source. I personally enjoyed this one. It has everything from wanting a real relationship or just looking for one night stands and how to find which profile fits your needs. It's honestly more focused on finding a relationship online and taboos guys with bad intentions. It's one of my favorites.

Just a bitch being herself

There aren't any advice here that you needed. If you have common sense, you don't fucking need this book. And if anyone lacks common sense, they should not be taught to fake it, as does she, because these fuckups will fuck up the life of those women they will attract with their act.
It seems that this is her marriage statement which must be signed by her future mate. Great, she wrote a book defining how should her mate act for her to accept him. Bitch, please, there are plenty of fish in the sea.
This, her journal entry, should have stayed in her journal, rather than getting published.
I write my thoughts down too, but I keep 'em under wraps, and so should have she.
This book is useless.
Waste not your time; I don't say money, because it's cheap, but your time, it can't be re-earned. There are plenty of good books here, on the same subject. Move on.

Overall pretty good. Short though

The narrator came across as a little snarky and maybe even condescending at times, but she did speak from the heart. I can tell. She held my attention the entire book. Some of the advice is obvious, but people need to be reminded of the fundamentals. Worth the small price

Wow...

I like to listen to these books because you never know what little thing you can pick up.
All I can say this book sounds like it is written by a bitter woman that hasn’t had very good success w the online dating world. While there is truth behind a lot of what she is saying the time that is used sounds angry and degrading towards men. Sounds like another woman that wants to degrade the Alpha male.

Hey it may work for you but I just couldn’t get past the time of this book to find anything useful from it.

Didn't know I was a Douchebag till I heard this!

Of all the crap I bought and read, this was far more entertaining and realistic. Don't just listen one time, review each chapter till it sticks, if you have to, take notes.
I would recommend this book to every guy out there breathing.
I gave five stars because the best advice about women should be from a woman. Men's advice is always one side and based on ego, not realizing that they didn't get the girl, the girl got them.

It's not me, it's you.

If you want to hear another story about how it's the other gender's fault that you can't get a date, this is your story.
Should be reduced to a simple annotated list.

Your Snarky Sister's Awesome Advice

This is the conversation all men need to have as part of their life, regardless of age. I'm age 52 and wish a woman would of clued me in 36 years ago. It's never too late to be refreshed or expanded.

Behind the attitude (which I found enjoyable,) are messages and insights from a woman who cares enough to really serve (straight up) powerful contexts that make our world a better place.

Well done, messages received. Short, direct, to the point, pure gold.

Thank you!
