Having struggled significantly, with coming to terms with controlling relationships, I found this book a great help. The only slight criticism, I would give is it's very female orientated and portrays the male as the perpetrator, which certainly isn't always the case. I particularly found the parts about secondary ptsd/inherited traumas, particularly interesting, as it's something i've long believed.

This book has helped me start to come to terms, with what I need to do, to live the live I want to live and to identify the people I can no longer have in it.
