Bonnie Langford reads a brand new novel adventure for the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday, as played on TV by Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson.

When the Doctor and Ruby arrive on Cavia, they meet a gentle local who is certain that she has been taken for study by creatures from the stars. The Doctor is concerned to find mysterious meteors appearing in the sky, while strange robotic creatures crowd the forests, watching everything and waiting for… what?

Who is interested in Cavia, and why? What is the sinister truth of the abductions? The Doctor and Ruby must discover the secrets of this mysterious world – and those who would seek to destroy it…
Bonnie Langford, who plays Mel in the BBC TV series, reads Una McCormack's intriguing novel.

Caged is the best fifteenth doctor’s novels because they got Bonnie Langford to narrate it. I loved this audio book and I want more like this in the future.

The only 15th Dr book I've read/listened to so far, but I've read listened to over 200 Dr Who books and I've got to say this isn't bad at all.

The characterisation of the Dr is a bit pedestrian but Ruby's character is true to the TV series, and as in that, she easily holds her own and can carry the story when separated from the Dr.

The alien characters are well defined and brilliantly brought to life by Bonnie Langford (Mel) - she really does a first rate job of narrating this and giving all the characters distinctive personalities and characteristics. Makes me want to listen to more audiobooks from her.

There's some really fresh ideas in here. Alien abductions....but with a difference.

Certainly very enjoyable and fun little story with a brilliant performance by Bonnie Langford. Give it a go - I definitely recommend it
