There is a strange kinship between diving to 100 feet, 30 meters underwater, and grinding up a mountain pass on a bicycle. On paper, they have almost nothing in common. One is slow, weightless, silent. The other is effortful, gravity-bound, loud with your own breathing. But spend enough time in both worlds and you start to notice they are teaching the same lessons from opposite directions.
You don't stay at the bottom of the sea or the top of the mountain, but experience a rhythm of immersion and return, or climb and return, over and over. Each trip gifts you something new, something purposeful. That is diving into purpose.
