Whilst book 1 in this series had me totally hooked by the unique story, book 2 wasn't quite as unique. Still a totally enjoyable read. A strong masculine alpha and what appeared to be a weak girl (but was really a fierce woman in disguise) were the main characters in this book. Their interactions were unique and sometimes explosive. The twists and turns this author uses in her books had me on the edge of my seat needing to know more.The duet narration really helps bring the characters to life, Kai and Wen did a fantastic job.

So many twists and turns. Loved every minute of this audiobook. Storyline is brilliant, characters great and it keeps you guessing as to what will come next! Written very well. Performances are brilliant from both Kai and Wen.
