I didn't know what to expect as I wasn't keen on the voice at first, but it grew on me and the story line was pretty good.

I found this book really hard to get in to and nearly gave up on a few occasions but in the end I was glad I persevered as it ended up being an enjoyable listen with unexpected twists. Having said that, I really wasn't a fan of the narration, it was a bit breathy and whiny for my liking with added syllables on the end of words which was just irritating.

The main character started to annoy me but halfway through the book I started to feel sorry for her. Towards the end there is a real twist. I enjoyed it.

I didn’t think I would enjoy this but I did although I didn’t really like the ending others would. I lost empathy towards the end. Definitely worth a listen though especially as it was free!
