This book should not be labelled as a romance as there is no romance in the entire book. The book alludes to the two characters being attracted to each other, that’s it. It’s a Christian suspense with many inconsistencies.

Not a romance

Not an unusual story but enough suspense to keep interesting and enough feel good to make a tough cop story a cozy mystery. Sometimes it’s good to enjoy a slower pace and have an easy listening. Gets work done easier. Narration was good so might just go another one in the series.
