Highly recommended

I’ve been researching the keto lifestyle for a couple years and have occasionally tried it but couldn’t stick with the restrictions. The approach in this book offers so many options and is much more practical, the recipes are great and easy to make, and the ingredients are easy to find. This is the first time I’ve been able to stick with it for almost 3 weeks and am actually experiencing the benefits....loss of sugar cravings, more energy, less inflammation, and improving digestive issues. My husband is really liking it too. He was miserable the last time we tried it but was willing to give it another shot. I highly recommend this book whether you’re just starting out or have experience with this way of life. Other books I’ve tried to read required a masters in some area of science to understand it all. this book is an easy and interesting read, for the everyday person.

Good book

Awesome book to guide my husband and I on our Keto adventure. I wanted this to be a healthy journey and a lot of the things that I was reading was encouraging not so healthy fats. Being a nurse, I certainly knew better than to eat hotdogs and burgers all day. This book breaks it down so that you can make clean and easy choices! I am down 14 pounds on this Keto journey so far and feel amazing!! Thank you!!

Informative

This is a very thorough book for somebody wanting to take a look at the ketogenic diet. The author brings a unique personal perspective and discusses some of her own challenges along the way. There are numerous aspects of the ketogenic diet as well as nutrition packed into the book, from customizing to particular ketos diets to supplements, ingredients, and where to shop. She breaks things down to making the most basic of ingredients (nut milk, infused oils) to simple and more complex recipes. For a beginner, this book may seem a bit overwhelming at first. It took me a week to work through the basics of it before going back and truly reading some of the pieces. For somebody who wants to know the nitty-gritty details and has time to navigate complex recipes - this would be a perfect fit for you.

Excellent book

This book is everything you need to get started or maintain a high fat, low carb lifestyle!! I was eating a ketogenic diet for several months before I came across Leanne! Her book, YouTube channel and podcast have totally changed how I look at this lifestyle!! Her book is packed with amazing information, guidance, easy to understand charts and delicious recipes!! This book is a must have!

Awesome one

This is THE book to get if you are starting or have been on a ketogenic diet. It's really well done. Beautiful illustrations, a very thorough and comprehensive guide to every aspect of keto you can think of, and also great recipes (all dairy free with the option of subbing in dairy). Even if it had no recipes, I would still highly recommend it. From types of fats/oils, to how to make nut milks, to different types of keto, to what to expect from side effects, etc. Just incredible. I bought another popular book on keto but it pales in comparison.

Love this book!

Love this book! This is my go book for many reasons. This book prepared me for starting Keto and what to expect once I started. There are great recipes that are easy and delicious for everyone that wants to make the lifestyle change of Keto. The book explained all the aspects of Keto and put it in easy terms to understand. The formulas in this cookbook are basic, versatile, Keto-accommodating, and simple to get ready in our kitchen. I discovered this book exceptionally educational and valuable. It is elegantly composed and simple to peruse. All my family loves the dishes after these formulas despite the fact that they are not following this programm. I enjoyed this cookbook and would prescribe it to any individual who is keen on the Ketogenic Diet and needs to be fit and solid.

Be successful

If you not only want to learn about Keto, but be successful at it, you'll want this book. Emmerich 's recipes, blog and Instagram (KetoKarma) are what inspired and helped my husband and I to lose a combined 179 pounds in one year. She is so relatable, and her recipes are delicious. This is my favorite Keto book by far and one that I recommend to all of my family and friends.

This was a beginners book for me. Very informative. Got some good recipies but would have been better if there were more variety of recipies. I did like the cream cheese and egg pancake recipe.

Good value for money!

I have to admit that I have been on many diets in my life. I’ve used low calorie, fruit fasts, and even Jenny Craig. But the diet that worked best for me was the low carbohydrate diet. The Ketogenic diet combines low carb, moderate protein and healthy fat to lower your bodies ‘desire’ for unhealthy sugary and high carbohydrate foods. The book does a fine job describing the diet and then gives three choices of how to approach the diet (standard, cyclical, and targeted). It then goes step by step on how to approach each of these three options. The last third of the book suggests tasty recipes such as Currant Flaxseed Muffins, Garlic Lemon Shrimp Pasta, and Zucchini Noodles with Lamb Meatballs. All in all, this is a fine start for the beginner. I would have loved some photos with the recipes, but other than that, perfect. Good value for money!

Excellent book

I’m following the four week meal plan and I have lost 9 lbs after one week. Highly recommend this book for people starting on a Keto diet. The one drawback is you will have to google some of the recipes.

Very informative and helpful.

Very informative and helpful. Provided meal plans to help me get started. I liked the fact that it spelled out the various stages of adjustment and what to expect, as well as how the high fat content will effect the body. I would recommend this book to anyone who is seriously looking into alternative eating habits for weight loss. I havve seen the results and want to give it a try.
