Summary
Im Mittelpunkt steht der schottische Fischer Wilm Falk, der an seinem fanatischen Glücksanspruch und seiner Geldgier zugrunde geht. Er schließt einen geheimen Bund mit dem Meer, das ihn ohne Gegenleistung reich machen, ihm den Schatz des versunkenen Schiffes "Garmilhan" zeigen soll.
