I’m a massive fan of Fortunately so was keen to listen to the audiobook. Fi and Jane you are brilliant, the insight, wit and belly laughs are just excellent. The essay format works so well, especially the reply to just offer a little more.
This book gives heart and at last voice for women of middle years!

If you know and love the BBC podcast Fortunately, then you'll be right at home. I suspect that the audiobook is the superior version of this title, as Fi and Jane have such wonderful voices and the interplay between them underpins the essays here.

If you enjoy Fortunately podcast you will love the wit, wisdom and warmth from Fi and Jane in this audible book Did I say that out loud? It’s a chemistry you wish you were part of it, and by listening you genuinely are for a few hours. I’ve listened once and will listen again and probably again. A series of essays on life- it’s ups, downs and what they’ve learnt along the way all with their delightful perspective and humour. It’s warm and wonderful and a perfect prescription for all of us. I loved it. Thank you ladies and don’t wait for another pandemic to write another one.
