Sometimes the conflict of these emotions brings people chaos in their head and in the people around them. They usually try to control these emotional spikes through drugs, excessive food, alcohol, sex, excessive shopping, self-harm, or they can even arrive at suicide.
BPD is a very dangerous mental sickness and it’s important to start working on it as soon as possible.
In the '90s, Marsha Linehan, a professor of psychology, psychiatry, and behavioral science devised DBT. What is DBT? It means Dialectical Behavior Therapy, a cognitive behavioral treatment designed and developed for people with BPD.
Usually, it is a therapy that is done in individual psychological sessions, but they are often too expensive, so this is the reason why I wrote this book: to help you and people like you to have victory over their problems.
