How do you go from blind date to shotgun wedding in a single afternoon?

You catch the eye of a man like Maximo Leonotti, that's how.

It's not like he had to force me. I was hooked on the stormy-eyed stranger from the moment we met… right up until I felt the pinch in my arm.

The next thing I know, I'm waking up on his private jet, halfway to Las Vegas. Apparently, for an impromptu wedding. Our wedding.

That's when the panic sets in. This can't be happening. I'm Elira Përmeti, daughter of Afrim, leader of the Albanian mafia. If I go missing, all hell will break loose.

But when I tell Maximo, he just smiles. Turns out, he already knows all of my secrets, and now it's time I hear one of his:

My father owes him a debt, and I'm the payment.

Devil's Lily is a standalone, dual pov dark mafia romance featuring a possessive, 'touch her and I'll unalive you' type anti-hero and a feisty, smart heroine. No OW drama, no cliffhanger, and a hard-won HEA.

This has been in my TBR for ages! All the reels on Instagram grabbed my attention to it and I couldn’t wait to read it. But…I’m a little…disappointed? Underwhelmed? I’m not sure. The smut is fantastic, let me tell you, it’s hot hot hot, but the chemistry? Nah. I’d also say the FMC isn’t smart. Feisty, yes! But smart, nope. Also, I’d warn anyone about the enemies to lovers tag, it’s not. It really isn’t. Yes they’re rivals but that’s it. She’s got Stockholm. BIG TIME! She has real good reasons to hate him to make good on that trope, but doesn’t. She somehow trusts him even though he’s never actually earn it & lies constantly, annoying me massively. However, this book does get you interested in the other brothers. Not that I hate this MMC, not at all, but I’m definitely drawn to the others stories. The narrators were good (not annoying) & unfortunately it wasn’t a duet. But I noticed that they kept getting a name wrong. Is it Amelia or Emily? I think this might be an error & needs a look into.

Not what I thought.

Perfect crime boss / mafia romance 😍

MMC with all the “touch her and die” vibes, instant attraction.

FMC innocent but with a fight like no other which I loved !

🌶️ scenes were 10/10 .

Voice actors were perfect, although not duet style, didn’t take me out of the story which I sometimes see happening.

Storyline was amazing and will definitely be continuing this series.

MUST read Mafia romance !
