Brilliant
I really enjoyed this book. Yes it's a story told before as most are. Boy meets girl. This one is different in the way its written and narrated. I very much enjoy listening to this narrator, he has a very soothing voice, although I didn't think his narration of the sex scenes were appropriate. It was lustful but too excitable, fast and load. If he calmed down and lowered his voice, the narration of this book would be perfect. I'm off to purchase the rest of the series ending with book 0.5 as it was not the first in the series. I started with this one in order they were written.

A good romance
Read this years ago, enjoyed this presentation. Bit too much sex, it gets boring.

Spoilt by bad recording, where the cd faltered.
A typical Lauren’s story, though the sex scenes were rather overdone to the point of nausea. Strong characters and a simple plot but delightful tussel of the sexes.

Amazing
One of my favorite books narrated excellently. I’d give this extra kudos as the narrator was English, like the Devil and that helped a lot

worthy of a re-read or three
I have just re-listened to this great tale, after a six month break, during which i have read or listened to many of the succesdive Cynster stories, in which I loved any appearance of Devil and Honoria (and Sebastian), and wallowed in the first book. Prebble is excellent, but his volume increases during the steamy scenes and I need to turn him down!

Good story
This is a good story with a good plot, but the heroine is so aggrevating, stubborn and annoying. She acted as though she was the main investigator of the murder case and she insisted on knowing all the evidence there was to know. And she also acted as though she was the head of the family. And if they didn't give her the evidence she would go into a tantrum and go and investigate on her own. She was such a Miss High and Mighty, I didn't like her at all. Yes the hero was a bit bossy but he was A Duke AND the head of the family, but she was just a visitor, basically, and she acted as though she owned the place. But she got better eventually, although she still remained very bossy.
The narrator was brilliant hadn't listened to him before I started this series, but will definitely be listening to other serieses read by him.

Good old fashioned bodice ripper
Good narrator and racy story of its era based in 1800s giving social and male/female information relevant to its time.
