I actually chose the audiobook over the kindle version as I loved the narrator and her southern accent matched the book setting perfectly. She also did the male character voices well -it wasn’t cringey at all. The characters felt so real - they weren’t perfect and acted in situations like real everyday people would. I also found the book funny in parts too and found myself giggling at times with all the witty banter between characters. Themes of forgiveness and love. This book would be perfect for summerween as it’s set in the south in a beach house and has a hint of witch craft/spells /oujide boards (can’t say anymore without spoilers). I also liked how each character took turns trying to come up with a way to break out of the time loop.
Enjoyed it so much I’ve downloaded another of the authors books on my kindle and can’t wait to read it.
