Summary
The cat-and-mouse game between professional assassin Dmitri Dzerzhinsky and FBI Special Agent Thomas Dalton may be developing into something more, at least for Dmitri. Blurring which side Dmitri's on can't continue. Hoping to get rid of his desire for Thomas, Dmitri goes to 1Night Stand for help.
Unaware of the assassin's interest, Thomas is attracted to Dmitri as well. So, discovering Madame Eve has given the Special Agent a night with the man of his dreams seems too good to be true.
Sometimes it's dangerous to get what you wish for. Can two men on opposite sides of the law find common ground beyond their mutual attraction?

Great narrator
I must admit since using audible I now buy book for the voice of the narrator and how they tell the story. I think I'm in love with Greg's voice and storytelling. the book was good but over to quickly could do with a longer version thanks Susanne.

Short+Sweet+Hot, like a chilli Chocolate Brownie!
Would you consider the audio edition of Desert Tryst to be better than the print version?
I haven't read the print version, but judging by the narration, I think it would be as good as the audio edition.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked that you can feel the connection and chemistry between the main characters and that plenty of backstory is given for them, despite the short length of the novel. I also liked how sweet a character Thomas was, it's easy to see why Dmitiri would be drawn to him.
What about Greg Tremblay’s performance did you like?
He's a fantastic narrator, my favourite by far. He really brings the characters to life, making each voice distinctive and adding real emotion to his performance.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I definitely laughed at points, especially at Dmitri's internal musings, but mostly I aawww-ed at how these guys clearly want each other and have this chance to make it happen. I also really sympathised with Dmitri's hard life and upbringing and how, despite that, he's a strong character who's a good man at heart, if not in deed.
Any additional comments?
I like the fact that this is a short story because it's very well written and narrated, it avoids unnecessary 'padding' as some longer novels are prone to using to fill their stories and I can listen to it all in one sitting if I choose, as opposed to sometimes having to spread it out over a couple of days. I'm notorious for listening to a single book repeatedly. That being said, if a full-length sequel to this was written, I'd be all for it. Well done Susanne, this book is on my favourites list :)!

Short but worth it
This is a very short, but engaging story. It actually packs quite a bit into what is basically one encounter between two men who have longed for each other from afar; an enemies to lovers type thing told from both POVs. One is a Russian criminal, raised and abused to be ruthless, the other a true blue FBI agent. High heat and yummy loving ensues. It is good enough that I would love a full novel with what happens after this encounter, as it is a HFN ending. There is a lot of back story implied and it would be a great novel. The writing is very good and picking Greg Tremblay as the narrator was a great choice. He does a wonderful Russian accent and I just love his voice. He truly brings this couple to life.

Wish it was longer
This book got a really interesting backstory, at least from what we are told of the past. Wish it could havd started at the beginning of there first enconter and then lead up to this one. Its still a really good short novel sith some hot sex.
Greg Tremblay did both charachters just like I inmagened them, making it even better!

Great narration, good story
I think it's been said before, but I'll say it again -Greg Tremblay is an excellent narrator. He could read a dictionary and it would be interesting:)
The story was good, and while I wish it was longer, it packed a lot in. Definitely worth a buy!

Deliciously Dirty little snack!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Of course. It's fantastic! Great story, characters and narration.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Dimi actually. I feel like there could have been an entire full length novel on him and what he's been forced to become.
Which scene was your favorite?
The strawberries and champagne.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Dimi finally, fully let his guard down.
Any additional comments?
FBI Agent Thomas Dalton and Hired Gun Dmitri Dzerzhinsky are on opposing sides of the law, and justly so, they should despise each other. Not so much though. Since the day Dmitri saved Tom's life a mutual attraction formed, and now they seem to have found a way to scratch the shared itch. Madame Eve from 1Night Stand to the rescue. Each man asks for one night with the person that has filled their dreams and almost every waking thought. For Thomas, that's Dmitri... and Dimi is so taken with agent that he risks everything for just one night. But what will happen when the sun rises?
Short, sexy and oh so steamy. Narrated by Greg Tremblay, the first time I've listened to an English/British type of accent from him, me likee! Very well written and put together, and even though the story was so short, there was still enough of the story to pull me in and get me invested in these two characters. The attraction and anticipation were magnificent. If you're looking for a deliciously dirty little snack, this should be right up your alley.

Short, but Sweet'n Sexy
This was a sweet'n sexy MM short story with the heroes at the opposing ends of the crime spectrum. This could work as a prequel to more adventures to come. The narration was excellent - I was missing a Russian accent though.

Hot, but too short
I would have preferred an extended version, this was a moment in time. The ending was the one I expected but not the one I would have liked. Greg Tremblay's performance was excellent.

Cute Short
I wish this was longer because I found the premise interesting, but it's sadly super short. Still, Greg Tremblay is awesome and brings these characters to life; a perfect listen for an afternoon.
