This is a great audiobook that provides a really helpful overview of depression, anxiety and panic disorders. What is interesting is that it can be helpful for someone suffering from these issues, but equally valuable if you are seeking a better understanding to help support a loved one! It offers tips for identifying when one might be slipping into depression, but also gives tricks and tools to help offer mitigating solutions and coping mechanisms. As a person who suffers from depression and anxiety, I was cynical about an audiobook helps, but this audiobook has helped, it’s strategies for coping we’re particularly helpful, as well as just listening about what depression is and how it affects your thoughts and thinking, this is teaching you that your feelings and thoughts are separate but are a sort of cause and effect. Your thoughts don’t need to be your feelings. Very thought-provoking

I've been through different therapy, and I know the root of my anxiety, but I was looking for something to help me when I'm feeling anxious that wasn't medication. The audiobook is helpful if you have specific anxiety about one thing, or more generalized - like me. I've been having fun chipping away at the audiobook and working through my anxiety episodes.
